Course: The Subtle Body
Location: Rusland Reading Room
Course starts: November 2025*In the tradition of Yoga, the subtle body suggests that which is fine, delicate and infinitesimally small, such as an atomic particle. It also speaks to the all-pervading spirit in the body and is one of the names of Shiva.
The most recognised representations of the subtle body are the Chakras. These are imagined energetic centres associated with geometric designs, animals, and acoustic resonance, and are often likened to blooming flowers.
Our journey of discovery begins with the feet, which are considered the foundation of the body's temple. They are crucial for alignment and stabilising the body's framework.
The spine is considered the axis mundi, the central channel believed to house kundalini, the primary biological force.
Join me on a journey of discovery.
*Open to those who have attended 6 consecutive classes with me.
Course date subject to change.
“Yoga is a living art.
It is a means of moving, breathing, thinking, expanding and contracting, evolving and interacting within the complex, ever-changing landscape of the world within and around us.”
